Prof. Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University – Marut Drones Pvt Ltd, Hyderabad jointly signed an MoU for pilot training program to be undertaken by “PJTSAU Drone academy”. In particular, the Agricultural University has drawn up specific standards for spraying pesticides with drones in 7 major crops of the state over the last three years. As a part of that, pilot training will be given to the rural youth on the use of drones and spraying of crop protection drugs in agriculture. The first pilot training academy for the use of drones in agriculture has been set up by the University of Agriculture across the country. Through this academy, unemployed rural youth, agriculture diploma passers and agriculture allied sectors will be trained on the use of drones in agriculture. University Registrar Dr. S. Sudhir Kumar – Marut Drones representative Prem Kumar signed the agreement documents. In this program, Dr. R. Jagadishwar and other agricultural university officials participated.
